I have only good memories of Miss Lib,as a child at the doctor's office and later on when we re-connected as my parent's neighbor. She was witty, honest and fun to listen to. I will miss her charm and courage to speak her mind but will always remember her with fondness. My sincere sympathy to her family

- Phyllis Branch, Savannah, GA

A good and caring friend was Lib. Also a charter member of memorial Baptist church for so many years. I grieve her passing and the loss of a good friend.

- Moira Duckworth, Savannah, GA

I cried this morning when I read the morning paper and saw that we had lost Lib. I have the BEST memories of her from so many years ago at Uncle Milton's office. Without a doubt she WAS the 'Best Shot-Giver in Savannah'...maybe ever! She was kind and loving to all of us for so many years. I send you prayers of peace and healing knowing that she shared so much of herself to help so many others.

- Paul Mazo, Savannah, GA

Family, I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Collins. I know she was a very special person. My mother, Kathryn Walsh Banks, who also worked for Dr. Mazo and St. Joseph's, always spoke very highly of Mrs. Collins. May Lib Collins rest in God's Eternal Peace. God Bless.

- Roy S. Banks, Jr., Flowery Branch, GA

Family of Lib Collins, I was a patient of Dr. Mazo and Mrs. Collins was the only one that I would let give me my allergy shots. She knew how to give them and I will always cherise the memories that I have of her being so loving to me. My heart goes out to all of you. Thanks for the memories.

My children were never happy about going to Dr. Mazo's office, but loved to see Mrs. Collins. She dispensed love and common sense along with her injections!

My sister Barbara Jones and I grew up with Dr. Mazo as our pediatrician. We knew that he never gave those dreaded shots but Mrs. Collins did -- and we pretty much feared her, knowing what might come at the end of the appointment. Thinking about getting a shot was always worse than the real thing because Mrs. Collins never hurt anyone. Dr. Mazo got out of Mrs. Collins' way when it was time for a shot. After our shot was over Mrs. Collins would open the cabinet and hand out a Saf-T-Pop. She must have done that many thousands of times during her years with Dr. Mazo. She was a small but special part of our childhood that is never forgotten. And like many of the people from the experience of our childhood Mrs. Collins has now passed on to a greater glory. May she rest in peace.

- Julia J. Williams, savannah, GA

Mrs. Collins was our neighbor growing up on Winston Avenue and we always thought so much about her. She was a very kind and wonderful woman! May she find eternal happiness. Our prayers are with her and her family. Love, Charles Armfield, Kim, Karen, Terri and Pam
